Hi, Everyone!

This is Annie, the newest member of Grapevine, and I am working hard to get to the Zion Ponderosa for the Singles Retreat!

Christie Smith called me when I got onto the Worthy Boards, and I returned her call after a pleading (by me) for anyone who could get me to church in a car. smile

This is when I met Christie.  The Lord had his hand in this matter, for certain.  I am now a member of Grapevine, and I love it.

I just got a call again from Christie over a week ago, and I have since seen all of you at the 11:00 a.m. service.  Christie advised that her apartment complex had a move-in special.  I have been living in a furnished "extended stay" and have not furnkiture, and at thist time, I am awaiting a "land" deal through my new company, but in the meantime, I have no income.  God will take care of Elvis (my puppy) and me.

My prayer request:   Please pray that the Lord will put it in some hearts to donate some furniture, as I currently sleep on the floor.  It's tough for an old bird like me!!   I ask that the Lord provide for me (and Elvis) to be able to stay in this wonderful new living arrangement (the Pacific Harbor at Sunrise), as the extended stays in Las Vegas are all ridden by prostitution and drugs, but I had no choice but to stay there while I searched for a permanent home here in Las Vegas.  I am so thankful to the Lord for bringing me here and to my new community of fellowship at Grapevine, that I am jumping for joy and cannot wait to get to church every week!  I do not yet have a Bible, but I look forward to getting one soon!  I have you at Grapevine as a whole, and I could not be happier that the Lord led Christie to me for that "ride" to church!

Thank you, and I appreciate your prayers.

I am always here at the home, so please, if anyone has prayers that I may join in, please email me.  I would love your fellowship!

Thank you, Jesus!  Amen!

Annie Stockton

Annie,

If at all possible, could you list what kind of furniture would be helpful.  Much appreciated.  Thanks.

Good morning Annie,

i just got home from women's camp last night.... i think you'd have loved it if you could have gone, but then you'd have had to come home to all those boxes to unpack.... i don't know if you'll be checking here in the next hour, so i'll probably give you a call shortly to see if you're going to be going to church this morning. i'm rather sore from hiking up to mountaintop, but i think i'll try hobbling in to the service. and i'll keep the  furniture situation in my prayers for ya.
