What a great service this week!!

We read through Is 26:1-10.  It is filled with riches!!  Great prophetic promises and truths of God and revelations about God to help us to know Him better, have a closer relationship with Him, and to trust in Him.  Only God is trustworthy!  He makes our paths level!! "The path of the righteous is level; O upright One, you make the way of the righteous smooth." (Is 26:7 NIV).  What a great passage to speak outloud when the enemy is lying to you about how tough the way is!  Depend upon God totally!!  Put your trust in Him emphatically!  Call the devil a liar!  And claim this verse.

We also had the pleasure of a visit from Bill and Suzie Bledsoe.  They shared a bit about their exciting ministry at International House of Prayer-Kansis City (IHOP-KC).

We can look forward and anticipate the fullness of God's future for us right now!!  Try singing or announcing these scriptures that Pastor spoke about.

Is 26:7-9 was the portion of the Message paraphrase that caught my attention to sing to God or proclaim to God prophetically in anticipation of the fullness of His kingdom and will being established here on earth NOW as it in in heaven.   Your kingdom come, Lord, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!!

Give it a try!!

Message paraphrase:

"We're in no hurry, God. We're content to linger in the path sign-posted with your decisions. Who you are and what you've done are all we'll ever want. Through the night my soul longs for you. Deep from within me my spirit reaches out to you. When your decisions are on public display, everyone learns how to live right."

NIV if you prefer:

The path of the righteous is level; O upright One, you make the way of the righteous smooth.
Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.
My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. Is 40:11
